Perception and Revelation

Romains 8:5-7

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind I enmity against God; for it it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

1 Corinthians 2:9-11

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.

For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the pirit of God.

God is Kingdom mentality. To live in His Kingdom, one must have His mentality. One must not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind. (Romains 12:2) It is God’s will that all His children enter His Kingdom. This Kingdom has a culture, a mentality. There are principles by which you must abide in. What you will read in the next following weeks is a series of bible studies given every Wednesday night at Grace and Glory Ministries by Pastor Ruth Ntumba Cienda.

Revelation brings together things seen and things heard. It is important as you go through these studies, to ask the Holy Spirit to give you revelation for the reason that these studies are a product of pure revelation from God. You must perceive in the spirit the things of God. Without perception you get stuck. There is nothing worse in life than to wander or to get caught in a jam and not know which direction to take in life. God gives guidance for every aspect of life but to identify with His ways, you need revelation. The bible says in Isaiah 55:8-11: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord... These studies you will read are a passionate pursuit of the thoughts and ways of God. Keep this in mind, what you think is not God’s thought, the ways you take are not God’s ways. His thoughts and ways are high. Let’s catch them and obediently walk in them.

To get revelation, you need to perceive the things of God in the spirit. When you perceive in the spirit, no one can move or shake you.  Because then the Spirit engrafts in your spirit Gods thoughts and ways and it becomes a visual picture that no one can remove. That which is spiritual remains forever so make sure your spiritual source is Jesus Christ and only Him.

Revelation gives glasses for the walk of life. From Abraham to Jesus, it has been always been a walk by revelation. Our everyday life must be by revelation. Are you in a jam, seek revelation and notice how quickly God can get you out of your mess. God gives you revelation to bring light into your situation. It brightens your environment and the more you stay in God’s presence the more you see clearly.

So every time God speaks to you, you must perceive what He is saying in the Spirit. Remember, God is Spirit and speaks to your spirit.  This perception becomes revelation. As we go on this journey on discovering life in the Kingdom of God through these revealed teachings from the Holy Spirit through Pastor Ruth, our prayer here at Grace and Glory Ministries is that you set your mind on the things above, not on things on the earth. Catch these teaching in the spirit and let the light of His revelation penetrate your heart and transform your life until the establishment of His Kingdom.
